Green Campus

The Green Campus online course is a course for university campus managers and professors to understand the potential that university campus life has to influence the surrounding community and promote sustainable and healthy lifestyles. In this course, learners will obtain expert knowledge on the close relationship between education, physical activity and environmental sustainability, and study best practices.

“Green Strategies for Healthy Lifestyle Promotion at Campus” (Green CAMPUS) is an Erasmus+ project under the coordination of the European Network for Academic Sport Services (ENAS). The project is focused on promoting Sustainable and Healthy Lifestyles for university campuses and their stakeholders: students, scholars, and their communities. The idea of the project is based on the needed relationship between Sustainability, Health and Education. ‘GREEN Campus’ is aiming to promote a more sustainable and healthy education at universities, but also, in the communities into which those campuses are integrated. That means that the project wants to change not only the campus life at the universities but also their families and neighbours (communities).

The Green Campus online course is one of the key outputs of the project. dedicated to raising awareness and building the knowledge of campus managers and professors to implement initiatives towards a healthier and more sustainable life around campus.
